The Learning Process:

We believe that there are four stages that a person must go through in order to acquire a new skill. These are:

1. Awareness

This happens when a new concept is introduced   during a course.

2. Awkwardness

This happens as the trainees try out the new concept.

3. Skill

Real skill develops only with use.

4. Habit

When the skill is fully acquired, providing the concept has value, its exercise becomes a habit. 

Only the first two, at most, are likely to be achieved during a short course.
